I've got the Blues was written by The Shed Project's lead singer, Roy Fletcher, as a touching tribute to Wesley Swede Sharples & Micheal Rex Hennigan. Fletcher compares the writing process to "therapy", as he states "Rex and Swede were like brothers to me".
Produced by Danny Hayes at Ivy Studios, the song is taken from their second album, Our Fear Is Their Power, and surrounds the listener in emotion with swirling strings and a rich grand piano. It also features guest female vocals from KD.
The Shed Project are based in Bolton, Lancashire, and have sold out multiple shows in the North West.
